I haven´t dyed my hair for about 15 months now. I don´t want to put more chemicals on my hair and i´m done with society´s pressure to dye our hair to look younger.

I´m 47 and I don´t want to look younger, i can just look my age and that´s it. I feel beautiful with my gray roots, they don´t make me look older, and if somebody thinks that they do, I don´t care.

Actually several women have given me compliments about my gray roots!

Thank you for reading and sharing, and congrats on joining the silver sisters! It's one of the best decisions I've ever made. I hope it will be for you too!

as of now it has been an amazing decision to not dye my hair! And makes my life easier!

I am so glad you re-posted this as I didn’t see it the first time. Beautiful essay and such authentic struggles we can all relate to. The simplicity of your commitment to the health and safety of your children is inspiring. Your wedding photo is also amazing!!
