Thanks for sharing these lovely pics Kristi. I used to live in Corpus and don't recall seeing any wildflowers like that! We haven't had much spring yet (I'm in Canada) but I am looking forward to a lovely reset when it does arrive.

I'm loving seeing the change in the way the trees look. It's not so much the rebirth thing as much as the change, I think - I love the way trees look during winter too, once their leaves have fallen and you can really see the branch structure, but now the inverses is happening, and there's plenty of color to see every time I go for a walk.

The changing trees are so lovely. We’re overrun with pollen now, and that’s the bad thing. And I just read an article that said the pollen is terrible in your area too.

My folks get clobbered by pollen. I'm not sure how it doesn't bother me, but it never has.

In answer to your title question, I’m spending an hour every morning in the garden even though I have hundreds of acres left to plant in the field. I need a little fun with my work. 😉

Can't wait to hear more about your 'larger purpose' and thrilled that you have pulled back and intentionally given yourself more space and time. 💜 It fills my heart when I hear people doing this and makes me feel like less of a weirdo. 😆
